GENERAL CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE RECHARGING SERVICE FOR ELECTRIC OR RECHARGEABLE HYBRID VEHICLES

Le Val Lachard provides Customers who own electric or rechargeable hybrid vehicles with a self-service facility enabling them to recharge their vehicles under the conditions defined in this G.C.U.

To this end, Le Val Lachard provides them with a recharging station located in the hotel's covered parking lot.

Article 1 - DEFINITIONS

Recharging Station: station on which the maximum recharging power is 7 kW AC (Alternating Current) only equipped with a type 2 recharging cable.

Customer : Natural or legal person who is a client of the hotel, user of an electric or rechargeable hybrid vehicle, whether or not he/she is the owner of the vehicle and provided that he/she is in possession of the vehicle registration document and insured under the same conditions as the owner of the vehicle wishing to benefit from the recharging service.

G.C.U.: Refers to the present General Terms and Conditions of Use of the recharging service for electric or rechargeable hybrid vehicles, its possible amendments and annexes.

Article 2 - CONDITIONS OF ACCESS TO THE SERVICE

The purpose of the service is to recharge electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles.

In order for a Vehicle to benefit from the service, the Customer must accept the conditions of this G.C.U.. It goes without saying that the mere connection to the charging station is tantamount to unconditional acceptance of this G.C.U..

The Customer undertakes to inform any user of its Vehicle of the conditions of use of the Vehicle recharging service, in particular the provisions of article 4.

Article 3 - DESCRIPTION OF THE VEHICLE CHARGING SERVICE

As part of the service, Le Val Lachard allows the Customer to recharge their Vehicle at the hotel's charging station, subject to availability.

To do so, the Customer is authorized to park in the parking space attached to the charging station and reserved for Customers of the service, for the duration of the charging.

Article 4 - CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE RECHARGING SERVICE FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES

ELECTRIC AND RECHARGEABLE HYBRID VEHICLES AND CUSTOMER'S OBLIGATIONS

The Customer undertakes to respect the rules of use and safety of the service.

In order to recharge their vehicle, the Customer must first make a request to the hotel reception desk so that authorized personnel can authorize access to the socket.

The connection of the Vehicle, following the instructions on the charging stations, is the sole responsibility of the Customer.

To stop charging the vehicle, the Customer must disconnect the vehicle and put the plug back on its wall bracket (to the right of the charging station).

The Customer undertakes to report any anomaly or malfunction of the recharging system as soon as possible by contacting the reception.

The parking space reserved for recharging can only be used for the needs of recharging the vehicles in accordance with article 3.

Accordingly, Customers are prohibited from parking in the recharging parking space if the vehicle is not being recharged or if recharging has been completed.

The vehicle remains strictly in the custody of the Customer, while charging and/or parking in the charging bay. Val Lachard does not assume any obligation of surveillance and will not be responsible for any deterioration or disappearance of the Vehicle that is not due to its fault, in particular in the event of acts of vandalism, theft, etc.

The vehicle must be in good working order and in compliance with current regulations, in particular concerning its battery device and its associated and integrated recharging system.

Any malfunction or deterioration of the charging station due to improper use of the charging station or poor operating condition of the Vehicle connected to the charging station will be charged to the Customer.

Article 5 - OBLIGATIONS OF VAL LACHARD

The service constitutes a global service including the supply of electrical energy and the provision of a parking space.

As the service is based on the principle of "self-service", Le Val Lachard does not guarantee the availability of the recharging point and the parking space reserved for the recharging that the Customer wishes to use.

Le Val Lachard cannot be held responsible for the punctual absence of availability of charging stations.

Le Val Lachard cannot be held responsible for damage suffered by the Vehicle during its recharging or parking on the parking space reserved for recharging, resulting from the Customer's actions, such as non-compliant use of the recharging point, to the exclusion of damage caused directly and exclusively by a fault on the part of Le Val Lachard or by a failure of the facilities made available to the Customer.

Article 6 - LIABILITIES AND INSURANCE

In the event of proven damage of any kind caused by the Customer or Le Val Lachard to the other party, within the framework of the present G.C.U., the party responsible will be required to

to compensate the injured party for the damage suffered.

Article 7 - METHODS OF INVOICING AND PAYMENT

All the rates are available on the Val Lachard website.

The costs for the use of the recharging station are issued on the customer's stay bill.
