Vacation Rental Agreement

1. Object of the contract

This contract is for the renting of an apartment for a period under 90 days.

The renter agrees to comply with the additional Terms and Conditions as set out in this Agreement.

Any booking implies and understood the full acceptance of the Vacation Rental Agreement and our Terms and Conditions. This document is available on our website (www.vallachard.com) under "prices and booking terms" - "documentation" page.

 

2. Apartment description

The apartment concerned in this agreement is a flat :

located in a house, chemin des Prés, 38250 Villard-de-lans

The flat has a living room, an open kitchen,     bedrooms and    shower rooms.

3. Occupation

The apartment can be occupied by a maximum of     persons (including babies). The Renter agrees not to increase this number.

 

4. Period of rental

The rental starts from                              to

and the Renter fully agrees to leave by that day.

The period of rental must not be beyond the period of 90 days.

 

5. Price of apartment

The following fees are for the rental of the apartment :     euros TTC

This price include for the whole period of rental the following services : water, electricity, cleaning at the end of the contract, linen. It does not include local taxes (0.83 euros a night per person) and optional services (breakfast, lunch and dinner)

 

6. Booking

In order to book the apartment, this contract must be signed and dated together with the deposit of    euros is to be paid by any of the following methods :

- bank transfer to our account

- cheque made out to Le Val Lachard

- credit card payment made through our website (www.vallachard.com)

Confirmation of the booking will be provided to the renter once the deposit has been received by Le Val Lachard.

 

 

 7. Balance of rental

The balance payment of the rental, that is to be         euros, 

must be paid at the latest on

by one of the method listed above.

 

8. Damage and Bond

Le Val Lachard request a bond of   euros from the Renter, to be held by the owner in trust until the end of the period of rental.

At the latest the day of arrival the renter will remit a cheque made out to Le Val Lachard covering this bond.

The renter is responsible to Le Val Lachard for all breakage, damage and destruction to any property, direct and indirect costs, fines incurred, charges from third parties arising, and damage caused to the Apartment (including any contents) during the term. The Renter agrees to indemnify the Val Lachard against any losses or damages suffered by Le Val Lachard as a consequence of the Renter’s breach of its obligations under above clauses and to immediately, on demand, reimburse Le Val Lachard for all such costs.

This bond, which does not produce interests, will be returned within a period of two months after the period of rental.

 

9. Agreed list of contents

Le Val Lachard and the Renter agree to sign a list of contents the day on arrival and the day of departure.

 

10. The conditions of said contract

The signature of both parties make this document legal and subject to local law.

Le Val Lachard has the right of entry, should any urgent repairs be necessary.

 

11. The obligation of Le Val Lachard are to maintain the property but are not responsible for acts of god or acts by third party.

 

12 Cancellations

If the renter cancels the contract, he looses their deposit.

If Le Val Lachard cancels the contract, they will refund the value of the deposit twice unless it is due to acts of god or if the Renter has not fulfilled their obligation.

13. Mediator

After having contacted the Val Lachard customer service and in the absence of a satisfactory response within 2 months, the customer may refer the matter to the Tourism and Travel Ombudsman, whose contact details and procedures are available on his website: https://www.cm2c.net

14. Domicile

In case of legal dispute, the Tribunal of domicile of Val Lachard is responsible for legal judgment. This present contract is subject to the local French law.
